.Capturing a movement, a moment in time, a connection . . .

Collection 01 was inspired by an aerial photograph taken in the 70's of my family farm. Fixated by this visual from above, flat square paddocks and rolling hills. You see straight lines, soft curves, the beauty of these combined and merged. A tailored trouser classically cut, flaunting a dramatically draped panel of cascading pleats, hugging the waist on one side. A boxy trench coat, the collar curving and forming into a cape, nonchalantly draped over one shoulder. And more subtly present in a classic waistband, forming into an exaggerated bow, and hand-made glass buttons adorning a simply cut jacket.

There is this element of wholeness too, a land that grows and gives, flowing in an endless cycle. Carefully cut patterns create details of folding and wrapping, forming into flared silhouettes and draped sleeves. Voluminosity is controlled with finishings, allowing the wearer to create different shapes as they desire. Versatility is offered
with skirts designed to also be worn as dresses and trench coats un-buttoning into a short jacket or skirt.
